Twinset Milano has launched in London with a womenswear store that has just opened on Chelsea’s King’s Road and August 5 seeing the brand debuting at Westfield London’s The Village.

The new Twinset ad campaign features Georgia May Jagger and Suki Waterhouse

The Italian brand, best known for its knitwear and ultra-feminine pieces, will be offering a complete line-up in Britain, including an “all-encompassing range and suite of sub brands” that “reflect the dynamic, nonchalant, free spirit and bohemian style of the Twinset woman.”

CEO Alessandro Varisco, who has run the company for the last three years, said the label has seen “buoyant [UK] e-commerce sales for some time and we were being increasingly asked when we would have a bricks and mortar footprint here.”

The company’s clearly very focused on making its business work in Britain and its dedicated UK webstore will relaunch in early October with Varisco saying "we’re also keen to explore wholesale opportunities."

“We’re hopeful our distinctive aesthetic – which holds global appeal with an Italian accent – flattering silhouettes and premium textiles and detailing will resonate with cosmopolitan Londoners,” she added.

And the UK launch should be boosted by a new AW18 ad campaign  that features British supermodels Georgia May Jagger and Suki Waterhouse. It will be released in September.

Twinset is owned by The Carlyle Group and has a strong presence worldwide in 137 stores, located in Southern Europe, Russia, the Middle East, and Asia.
